Moving to a new server
At times, I have noticed that the server where WP Remix site is hosted is down and as a result, the users had to face difficulty accessing site. While I am renovating everything, I have decided to move the WP Remix site to a better host.
Because I am not much experienced with moving active sites, the wpremix site, demo and mail server might breakdown. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to anyone during the shift.

In earlier post, I announced the release date of WP remix 2.0 . Because I will be busy in server shifting, setting the online demo of the theme, documentation and so on. There will be no further updates until July 15.
Designers & Developers – an opportunity for you
If you are a proud wpremix theme member, have done good customizations and implemented the theme in sites online, here’s an opportunity for the web designers, web developers and design firms.
I do receive lot of inquiries on customization of the wpremix theme but can not take most of them due to time constraints and the opportunities are lost without a good reason. As you all know, the new wpremix 2 theme is coming in few days which will have amazing features – most of which, no other themes are offering. The buyers will need customization help, would love to outsource the work and so on.
I would love to refer those opportunities to the approved wpremix designers/developers who are capable enough to do the customizations. And no, I would not ask for profit sharing 
on the customers I refer. Though, no rules has been outlined yet, I am thinking of a win win situation. To get approved, there are two criteria.
1) Send me sample links to the best customization you did of wpremix theme.
2) Take active part and answer the support queries in the upcoming support forum. The approval will be decided based on accuracy of your answers.
Once approved, I will then list those developers in Approval list at the wpremix site or forum.

Submit your site – WP Remix website re-design in in order
With the release of the next version, I think the wpremix website do need a revamp. I have started designing new website for the wpremix which will be ready before the launch.
Some of the buyers have requested a showcase section as well so everyone can take a look at the customizations others made in the wpremix theme. Also those who submit their site would get benefit of featuring their site with a screenshot and a backlink to their site.
So here I am calling all the wpremix users. Please use the contact form and send me the URL(s) where you are using the wpremix theme and get featured in a brand new wpremix site.

WP Remix 2 is coming – some of the extra ordinary features explained
The beta testing of the revolutionary remix editor plugin is in final stage and meanwhile, thanks to all the wonderful suggestions and critics from you all that I have been able to take decisions and include/exclude features from the next version of the theme.
The theme is coming maybe in third week, July. But I would want to do the detailed documentation first. Just so you guys stay updated, I would like to inform you all about the salient features of the next version of the theme.
Here’s some of the features that – No Other Theme on The Net is Offering – as per my knowledge as of this date.
Page Template Editing:
Unlike any other theme on the net, WpRemix theme will be the first ever theme to let the user insert the page templates directly into the visual editor and edit the page template content. What’s more you could use the page templates unlimited times without duplicating them each time. Did I mention you won’t have to install any plugin for this? Everything will be built-in.
Modular Approach:
Ever wished you could integrate two themes from the same author in just one site? For example, you want to use Gallery, E-commerce and CMS theme in the same site but could not – because they are completely coded different way? Not just that, you also had to pay for header, footers, blog and the regular pages which are already there in the another theme you purchased from the same author? How nice it would be if you only get to purchase the different functionality/feature of the another theme?

WP Remix will be approaching a completely new way. You can buy the default wpremix theme, use it as CMS to create small sites. The different functionalities will be then introduced in near future such as Magazine module, E-commerce Module, Dynamic Photo Gallery Module etc. which will be basically a theme but you only need to place the files into the wpremix theme and start using those functionalities as well. You can use the same code for all the modules and yea, you won’t have to pay whole new amount for this. Instead, just pay small fraction for the additional module you would want to buy.
Clutter free, optimized code:
Though the wpremix will be feature rich, your theme will utilize only those functionalities needed. Thus, the theme will be fast as ever, keeping unused code/functionalities aside.
Color Schemes:
There will be around 5 color schemes. Users can then share the color schemes they created and everyone can benefit. (ok, some of them offer basic color schemes so I take my words back 
)
Smart Navigation:
Usability will be at it’s best. The theme will have strategically placed breadcrumb, smart menu and those extra little care.
The smart drop menu in wpremix 2 will remember exactly where you are and where you came from!. You can even have vertical dropmenu either on left or on right. Only on few pages of your choice or, on all the pages if you want.
Dynamic and static page templates – flexibility at it’s best:
The theme will have around 50 page templates of different kinds, making it easy for the user to choose the right template for their need. The templates will have ajax, video, dynamic and static content, custom fields, plugin compatibility..
Flebility, Sidebars and more:
When I say flexibility, I mean it. You can create different page templates and can have same sidebar, header, footer for all all pages or you can have them different for all the pages.
The theme will introduce 5+ strategically designed sidebars that will enable user to build right content for right pages. For example..
While creating a page with a page template with Tabs, you can use different header with background image, an additional footer and a sidebar with advertise banner for just this page. All your other pages will remain as it is.
Easy enough for a novice to build a site in minutes, Capable enough for developers to do wonders:
The theme is built in modular, easy and yet powerful approach. If you are a novice user, you can create basic site using different page templates in minutes. They can switch to detailed color schemes, build pages on their own if they like or can use template of their choice, unlimited times from the set of around 50 page templates.
If you are an advanced user/developer, there are plenty of possibilities in the theme – enabling you create wonders with the theme. Create your own page templates, combine different templates and create endless templates, easy, modular css, commented, optimized code, and just wait, there’s a short code feature as well (to be explained later! )
Magazine Module:
Planning on buying a single magazine theme for $50 to 70+ elsewhere? Good news for you. The wpremix will introduce a bundle of 5 different kind of magazine templates with the theme, with color schemes, all for free for the wpremix buyers!.
