I am doing something wrong here. I still see the wordpress default blog instead of the blog3 module.
I uploaded the blog3 folder content in to the remix theme folder.
I uploaded the blog.css file to overwrite the blog.css file in the rexim theme css folder. Is that correct?
And after I uploaded all the other php files in the blog3 folder to overwrite all the same files in the remix theme folder.
After that I set the blog page I already have in the blog template mode at the bottom and at the top at none.
But still it doesnt show up.
Is it because I had the page already created before doing all this?
Thanks for the help

The documentation describes the following:

header1_ad.php: contains ad that we display in the Header 1. Ad size - 468 x 60 pixels

sidebar3_ad.php: contains ad that we display in the sidebar 3. Ad size - 240x200px\

sidebar5_ad.php: contains ad that we display in the sidebar 5. Ad size - 234x60 pixels

blog_firstpost_ad.php: contains the ad that we display after the first post in the blog template. Ad size 468 x
60pixels

blog_sidebar_ad.php: contains three ad that we display in the sidebar of the blog. Ad size - 234x60 pixels

However, I have three ads that are 125x125, 180x50, and 180x50. I want to insert google adsense scripts like I did for the first blog ad and the header ad. How do I do this? I can't seem to get it to work.

This may or may not work for you but turning off the auto save in wordpress seems to have calmed thing down. For me the auto save has been the kiss of death.

This happens me also alot. When I add extra < div >'s in the code, save and publish the page, everything is fine. Then when I need to edit that page again and i'm in the wysiwyg editor, these < div >'s will be removed when you store the page.

The extra sidebar will also appear on that page.

How i fixed it? Well, when i need to edit a homepage, I open those pages in the HTML editor inside Wordpress. Then i copy the full content of the page, delete all the code, set the remix editor op none, save, add the template again trough the editor, select all and paste everything i copied right before. Only then i start to edit again.

Complicated, but it works. And i've got no sidebar on that page.

Bhavesh gave me a very fast reply which fixes the problem. Yeahhh!!!...

This is intentional. So that when a user switches between page with longer and shorter height, the page does not move horizontally. To remove it,

Remove following code from misc.css (line 13)

html, body {

In the CSS, the html should stop at the body tag. I can't fix it... Please tell me if you know how to fix the scroll bar.

I changed from standard blog TPL to Blog01 from the Magazines set supplied - all very straightforward.
After some time, while working fine with an inner page added - the damn blog01 sidebar mysteriously
appeared at bottom-right-hand corner of the inner page being worked on.

Only way to fix this was to delete the page and start again which is a royal pain.
Reverting to a page version saved prior to error does NOT fix the problem.
Using WP 2.63 and working in Xampp - works 100% with other themes.
Is the editor in WPRemix unstable or what? Can FCKeditor be substituted?

Anyone have any clues please?

if you go inside your adsense account, you can choose what ad size you want for your site. Select an ad size which is smaller than 580 px. Adsense will deliver you the code for the ad, copy that over the code you have now. All should be set then.

yes, the ads you use are wider than 580px ( the content wrap). Because of that, your sidebar is pushed under the adsense ads.

If you are looking for the code of the pages, these are stored inside the mysql database. When you create a page, you import a part of a template file inside the wordpress editor. When you have edited the texts and images, the full html code what you have in the wordpress editor is stored in the database.

If you are looking for the code of the pages, these are stored inside the mysql database. When you create a page, you import a part of a template file inside the wordpress editor. When you have edited the texts and images, the full html code what you have in the wordpress editor is stored in the database.

It looks like you've found it, since the box is gone. The only code that remains are the < p > and < /p > codes.

Ok, I have done that. But all that shows in the html window is the basic code. It wouldn't show me the "hidden code" that google placed on the page. I could see it clearly using "Firefox" and "Firebug", but you can't save changes made with that configuration.

In CSSEdit I could see the css for "Welcome" but I couldn't locate it in an html editor of any kind?

By the way, thanks for all the help!

I turned "adsense" back on and reconfigured it. It removed the space.

Do you have any suggestions about where to find the actual "pages" saved by Remix 2?

Go to settings, click read, then look at what page is set as static startpage. Then go to manage pages, and edit the page you found.

I changed the "show adds" to not include the "Welcome Page". The add went away, but the hidden "box" stayed.

I am going to try to reconfigure the "adsense" again to see if it will move it. But, I sure would love to know where these pages are stored so I could actually look at the code.

Any suggestions?

From what i can see, the adsense code is inside the header3.php. It should be at the bottom of the file. The box itself is configured by the show_ads.js from google.

I didn't place it there. When I used "adsense" it placed the space there. I can't even find the "space" or "box" except with Firefox and Firebug.

I have a space after my header and before my content that was inserted by "google adsense". I can see it with "Firefox with Firebug" but I can find it with anything else.

Could you please tell me where the actual files, the created in WordPress are stored. I would like to be able to go to the actual "Welcome Page" and view the html and css code. But, I can 't find the source pages?

I have worked with DreamWeaver for a few years and normal html but not WordPress. I have searched my site page by page and can't find the ie "Welcome" static homepage I created.

The page is "openarmsbaptist.com/blog". Thanks to anyone who can help me. I really need to fix this tonight.

Did you put the adsense code in the header? If yes, remove the code out of it and place it in a template above the breadcrumb divs. Since breadcrumbs won't be displayed on the homepage, the adsense code won't be displayed too.
